Nadal Wins US Open

This year the Spaniard Rafeal Nadal won the most sought-after grandslam title. After fans were robbed from the dream final of Nadal/Federer, they were entertained by a stress inducing match. A rain delay and a few games later he wrapped it up in four sets. By doing this he placed himself in the ranks of the players who have won the four grandslams: Don Budge, Fred Perry, Roy Emerson, Rod Laver, Andre Agassi, and Federer. He also earned 1.7 million, not too bad for a few weeks on tennis!!
This was the hardest surface for Rafa to win on and was a great accompishment. I'm sure he's celebrating in Majorca, Spain where he lives.

  1. That must have been hard to him to complete. He must have wanted to win really bad. He's won a lot of tournaments as well. He must be one of the best in the country!
